The Mission

Reaching Out-Touching and helping children in need
Raising Up-Nurturing and preparing children for the future
Releasing To-Empowering children to make a difference

In 2003, Dr. Benjamin W. Rucker, and Dr. Angela Rucker, Assistant Pastor, Bride of Christ Church Ministries, met Baby Ruth on a missions trip to Guatemala in Central America. While ministering, there was a little girl sitting on the steps looking so lost and forlorn as she struggled to survive in an environment of poverty and very meager resources. When Dr. Angela Rucker looked at little Ruth, the Spirit of the Lord moved upon her heart that she should start a work in Central America for the children.

When Dr. Rucker returned to the United States, Ruth’s face was with her everyday. She saw Baby Ruth in everything that she did and prayed for her everyday. “It was like a burden on my heart to come back and start a ministry that would bring hope to the children of Central America.

Upon her return to the United States, Dr. Rucker introduced the vision. On February 15, 2006, God used little Baby Ruth as the inspiration to birth Cradle of H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Excel) in the earth realm.
